I grew up in Fair Lawn, New Jersey and graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1985. I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After college I relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona to work at PCS Health Systems. After 10 years I stepped down from my position as Director of Client Services to enjoy a few years being a stay at home mom. During that time I volunteered in my daughter’s classroom and fell in love with teaching. Instead of returning to her corporate job, I decided to begin substitute teaching, earn a teaching degree, and switch careers.
I taught at San Tan Heights for 3 years before joining the San Tan Foothills staff as a Master Teacher. After earning my Master of Educational Leadership from NAU, I moved into the Assistant Principal position. In my role as AP of Curriculum and Testing, I look forward to implementing new courses and programs at STF in the coming years.
I’ve been married to my husband Kurt for 23 years and have 2 sons in High School and a daughter who currently attends The University of Arizona. In addition to our children, we also have a pack of rescue dogs. In my free time I enjoy volunteering, hiking, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
