My teaching assignment this year, I am the Health/credit recovery teacher, girls volleyball and tennis coach here at STFHS . I try to incorporate as much real life situations into my class to make the learning much more meaningful.
I strive each day to make every single person student/athlete I come in contact with successful. I do my absolute best to help each person I meet in whatever area they need help with. I want to teach the unfaithful to be strong, teach the ungraceful to forgive, and love the unloving. I believe that we have to all work together to make this happen, so I do my absolute best to incorporate as much group work as possible. My students are to help each other in and out of the classroom in order for us all to be successful.
Previously I have worked in HUSD teaching Physical Education and coaching Tennis/Volleyball at Higley High school. Before that I worked in Mesa’s school district teaching Physical Education, strength and conditioning, and coaching volleyball, tennis, badminton at Westwood High school and Mountain View High school. Prior to teaching and coaching I worked with U.P.S./Driver/ management and did a career change and earned my teaching certificate in education to become a Physical Education Teacher/Coaching! “ “Physical activity for a lifetime”” Play Hard”!
